In first three years, students will experience campus-based learning, including lectures, practical classes, and early patient contact across various settings, particularly emphasizing community and rural healthcare. The third year marks a significant shift, focusing more on clinical settings, preparing students for the practical aspects of their future careers.

The final two years involve immersive clinical rotations, including electives, across three Clinical Schools:

  • Hobart Clinical School
  • Launceston Clinical School
  • Rural Clinical School in Burnie

This period emphasizes multidisciplinary collaboration and offers a chance to engage in a research or professional project, honing skills in research, leadership, and health systems change.
