Starting in 2021, Western Sydney and Charles Sturt University have collaboratively offered a combined program of Bachelor of Clinical Science (Medicine) and Doctor of Medicine (MD). This integrated five-year program for undergraduates culminates in qualifications that enable graduates to begin their careers as medical interns in both Australia and New Zealand.

WSU Medicine ATAR & UCAT Requirement

For non-Greater Western Sydney applicants, the ATAR (or equivalent) minimum is 95.5, while it's 93.5 for those from Greater Western Sydney, and 91.5 for candidates applying through the Rural Entry Admission Scheme.

Together with the ATAR requirement, students will also need to secure a UCAT score of around 3,090 to be competitive for an interview offer.

How many spots are in WSU Medicine?

The School of Medicine allocates around 120 seats across three categories: Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP), Bonded Medical Places (BMP), and International. Annually, about 20 of these seats are specifically set aside for International students.
