In Australia, early preparation begins with subject selection in high school. All medical schools require Chemistry, English and Mathematics as prerequisite subjects. The minimum ATAR to be competitive in your application to medical school is a 99+. Students who score the top mark - 99.9 are offered a provisional entry place.
